Iberdrola is a global energy leader, the number one wind power producer, and one of the world's largest electricity companies by market capitalization. With a focus on renewable energy, smart grids, and customer solutions, the company is at the forefront of the energy transition, driving a sustainable model through innovation and digital transformation across all its global operations.
Iberdrola needed to train its vast and diverse workforce on complex digital transformation processes. Traditional training methods, often relying on static documents and long manuals, were not agile enough to keep pace with the rapid technological changes the company was implementing.
The challenge was to find a way to deliver consistent, high-impact training that could be easily updated and consumed by employees worldwide. The goal was to move away from text-heavy materials and create a more engaging, visual learning experience that could effectively foster a digital-first mindset across the entire organization.
By implementing Vidext, Iberdrola transformed its training strategy into a dynamic, video-driven ecosystem. The platform allowed them to turn technical documentation and internal processes into professional-grade videos featuring AI avatars, significantly reducing production time and costs.
This approach enabled Iberdrola to decentralize content creation, allowing teams to produce their own training materials while maintaining strict corporate standards. Vidext's ability to quickly iterate and update content ensured that the training materials remained relevant in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
