Forum Sport is a renowned chain of stores specializing in sporting goods, with a presence across multiple Spanish autonomous communities. Its activity combines customer service, technical product knowledge, and agile in-store operations, making continuous training key—especially in a sector with such high turnover—to guarantee a great user experience and team alignment with brand values.
The Training team traditionally managed its sessions in person, accompanied by extensive written documentation. This involved a significant investment of time and resources, making it very expensive to standardize the message across different stores.
Furthermore, as is common in the retail sector, employees required a continuous training process that, however, remained anchored to these classic documents provided during their first days. Static presentations that fell short in resolving all the issues that can arise in the day-to-day operations of a store.
The model was not only costly but also ineffective in ensuring content retention and fostering dynamic internal communication.
With Vidext, Forum Sport transformed its training materials into dynamic and interactive videos—which employees could even watch from their smartphones—generated automatically from existing presentations or documents.
This allowed them to unify their training, adapt it to their teams' profiles, and distribute it across all points of sale without the need for in-person sessions or external technical support; in other words, without hiring third parties, as they were the ones who—thanks to the tool—transformed all their training without necessarily having prior knowledge of design or artificial intelligence.
