How much does it cost to keep our team trained?

In the last two, everything has changed.

Companies are undergoing a deep transformation with the arrival of Artificial Intelligence. The way we learn, share knowledge, and stay aligned has evolved. Many teams—perhaps yours too—have realized that in-person training, while valuable, is no longer always sustainable or efficient.

At Vidext, we know this well: we went through that process ourselves. Back then, coordinating face-to-face training meant investing hours in logistics, travel, and organization. And still, the impact was limited — not everyone could attend, messages faded over time, and updating content often meant starting from scratch.

Digitizing our content was one of the best decisions we ever made. Not only did we reduce costs, but we also built a more connected, aligned, and engaged team that shared the company’s goals.

Costs: In-person vs. digital with AI

In-person training costs much more than it seems. It’s not just about having the right instructor — often you must also account for:

  • Travel and accommodation
  • Room rentals
  • Materials and equipment
  • “Lost” work hours
  • Difficult content updates

Recent studies confirm that in-person training can be up to 70% more expensive than its digital version.

With Vidext, creating AI-powered training videos is simple and accessible. We offer licenses and services tailored for every team. And best of all: your content can be reused, updated, and shared as many times as you like.

Beyond cost: connection and culture

Yes, reducing costs matters. But it’s not the only thing.

For us, digital training is an opportunity to strengthen team culture — a space where everyone has access to the same knowledge, regardless of time, place, or language. A space that fosters transparency, autonomy, and a sense of belonging.

At Vidext, we use video format for much of our daily content: from onboarding processes for new hires and product updates, to internal communications from the HR team. We also use video for training on new internal methodologies and even for our quarterly meetings, which feature presentations created in Vidext Visual.

Why now

For us, digital training is the logical next step in how we learn. It adapts to our pace, our lives, and the current needs of the corporate world. Because training isn’t just about sharing knowledge — it’s about bringing the team together. It’s about ensuring everyone does something as important as looking in the same direction.
