COCEMFE is a non-profit NGO established in 1980. Its purpose is to achieve an inclusive society that guarantees the full exercise of rights for people with physical and organic disabilities. It coordinates, represents, and promotes the Advocacy Movement for people with physical and organic disabilities in Spain, consisting of 94 state, regional, and provincial entities, which in turn represent more than two and a half million people with disabilities and bring together more than 1,600 associations, benefiting more than 1,000,000 people annually.
COCEMFE had dozens of training programs ready in its archives but needed a tool to make them more accessible for its members. People with disabilities require communications adapted to their needs, and text documents—and even standard videos—were not customizable enough for them.
Furthermore, the organization could not compensate for this lack of accessibility by increasing in-person training, as it was not sustainable given the current volume of members. The goal was to leverage all the pre-prepared information and digitalize it, converting it into audiovisual content tailored to the needs of the training recipients.
Finally, COCEMFE sought to offer the best possible content to its members. With all materials in static formats, it was essential to find a tool that allowed them to reuse existing resources and transform them into more dynamic and engaging content.
With Vidext, COCEMFE successfully carried out the digitalization process by reusing all its content and transforming it into brief, dynamic video segments.
Now, with Vidext Visual, the organization produces more accessible content for its participants. They have their own personalized avatar, automatically subtitle all training sessions, and control the specific duration of each slide—all without outsourcing to specialists or third parties.
As a result, COCEMFE has regained control over its internal communication and creates video content fully adapted to its members, meeting their needs without losing its brand identity.
