isEazy or Vidext: how an authoring suite differs from a system that produces training with agents

isEazy and Vidext both generate avatar video, but they split the work differently: in isEazy, your team designs each course with help from AI; in Vidext, agents produce the course from your company's documents and your team reviews and approves it.
If you work in training at a Spanish company, isEazy is probably already on your radar. Many large companies in Spain use it, it has a catalogue of ready-to-assign courses and, since September 2026, it can also create videos with AI-generated presenters. The question we hear more and more is simple: if isEazy already does avatars, what does Vidext add?
The short answer is that they look alike in a demo, but not in who does the work. With an authoring suite, someone on your team still designs each course, screen by screen, even with AI helping. With Vidext, that work is done by agents that start from your procedures, and your team spends its time deciding and approving. The difference barely shows with the first course and matters a lot when there are fifty pending.
In this article we compare both options on verifiable criteria, walk through how the same course gets produced in each one and explain when Vidext fits. All isEazy information comes from its public documentation, reviewed on 13 October 2026.
Before going into detail, here is the full picture. Where the vendor has not published a figure, we say so.
| Criterion | isEazy | Vidext |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Training suite: authoring tool, LMS, course catalogue, app for frontline teams and a platform with an AI tutor¹ | Training production for frontline teams: agents build the course from your documents and your team approves it |
| Who does the work | Your authors, with AI help | Vidext's agents, with your approval at each step |
| Starting point | An idea or a document, which the author turns into a course in the editor | A training goal and what already exists: procedures, manuals, slides, recordings of up to 2 hours |
| Who plans the course | The author | The agents propose the brief and the structure; your team approves them |
| Source traceability | Not documented | Each part of the script names the document it comes from |
| Avatar video | Yes, since September 2026, with AI Video Studio inside courses² | Yes: each module is a short interactive video lesson, with custom avatars and voices |
| LMS integration | SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and xAPI⁴ | SCORM, xAPI and LTI 1.3 |
| Company technical glossary | Not documented | Yes, per company |
| Completion certificates | In its LMS | Issued automatically when the course is completed |
| Security | ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its LMS⁵ | ISO 27001 and Spain's National Security Framework (ENS), medium level |
| Pricing | Public for the authoring tool: free plan and paid plans from 72 euros a month per author; AI is paid separately³ | Custom, annual contract, with unlimited creators |
The table shows something product pages don't: in isEazy, AI helps the person designing the course; in Vidext, AI produces the course and the person approves it. Everything else follows from that.
isEazy is a Madrid-based company that reports more than 1,000 client companies in over 90 countries, including MAPFRE, BBVA, Telefónica and Carrefour.¹ Its best-known product is isEazy Author, a tool for creating interactive courses without coding: templates, games, exercises, assessments and infographics published as a SCORM package.
Around Author it has built a complete suite:
In 2026 isEazy added AI to almost every step of Author. It can generate a course from an idea or a document, create exercises and assessment questions, add voice-over, subtitles and translations. On 1 September 2026 it launched AI Video Studio, a module for generating AI presenters in realistic, 3D or comic style inside any video module of a course.² If the script changes, you edit the text and generate it again.
One detail worth knowing before asking for a quote: AI features are not included in the base fee. On Author's pricing page, avatars, voice-overs and translations appear as paid add-ons on the paid plans, and they work with credits.³
Vidext doesn't start from a blank course editor. It starts from the goal (who the training is for and what they need to be able to do at the end) and from what the company already has: a procedure in PDF, a product deck, a technical manual or the recording of a classroom session.
From there, the agents do the work and your team makes the decisions:
Vidext works in more than 120 languages, keeps a technical glossary per company and is certified to ISO 27001 and Spain's National Security Framework at medium level.
It is important not to confuse the video with the proposition. Video is the most visible part, but the problem being solved is capacity: a training team of one to three people cannot turn everything the company knows into courses and keep them current.
Tool comparisons usually assess features. We suggest assessing the work that stays with your team. To make it concrete, we use a common case from the buying processes we support.
The request: a logistics company with eight sites has to train 500 warehouse operatives and drivers on the new dock loading and unloading protocol. There is a 30-page procedure, a risk assessment and the recording of the last safety talk.
In isEazy, someone on the team reads the procedure and the risk assessment, and decides what goes in and how it is split. Author's AI can generate a first draft from the document, but the structure and the judgement belong to the author. In Vidext, the agents read all three materials, ask about what is missing (for example, which dock types each site has) and propose the course brief and structure, which your team approves or corrects.
In isEazy, the author builds the course in the editor: screens, interactions, questions and, if wanted, presenter videos in AI Video Studio, which consume credits from the AI add-on.³ In Vidext, the agents write and check each script against the procedure, naming where each part comes from, and build the lessons with their questions. Your team reviews the result and changes anything by asking in the chat.
In isEazy, the course is published in its LMS or exported as a SCORM package to another LMS. In Vidext, it is published to the teams at all eight sites in its learning home or opened inside the LMS you already have, through SCORM, xAPI or LTI 1.3, and completion and grades flow back to it.
In both, the course has to be updated and published again. The difference is who does it: in isEazy, the author finds the affected screens and rebuilds them; in Vidext, you update the source, the agents propose the changes and you review them before publishing.
A training tool is better judged by the work it leaves with your team than by how fast it creates the first course.
The takeaway is not that one platform is fast and the other slow. It is that with an authoring suite the work grows with every course that has to be designed, while with Vidext your team moves from producing to reviewing and approving. For a company with few courses a year, the difference is small. For one with several sites, high turnover and changing procedures, it is the main difference.
Beyond the request, these are the three structural differences worth being clear on before deciding.
isEazy is built for a team that designs training: someone decides the course structure, picks templates and builds the interactivity, now with AI help. Vidext is built for a team that has more knowledge than it can turn into training: the agents propose and build, and the team decides and approves. If your bottleneck is the volume of knowledge not yet turned into training, what you need is production capacity, not another design tool.
In an authoring suite, the course is whatever the author builds, and the link to the source document lives in the head of whoever made it. In Vidext, each part of the script names the source it comes from, and a review checks the script against your documents for contradictions, omissions and repetition. For safety, quality or internal policy training, knowing where each statement comes from is what lets you update it safely and defend it in an audit.
isEazy holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 20000-1 certification scoped to its LMS, and does not list Spain's National Security Framework (ENS).⁵ Vidext holds ISO 27001 and ENS at medium level. The ENS is mandatory for the Spanish public sector and for the suppliers that serve it,⁷ so for public bodies, public companies or government contractors, this point can decide the evaluation.
Yes, and it's a more common setup than it seems. Many companies already have isEazy LMS and don't want to change it. In that case, Vidext produces the training that feeds the existing LMS: courses are built from internal documentation and exported in SCORM or xAPI to isEazy's LMS, where they sit alongside the courses you already have.
We explain this split of roles in detail in our guide on when an LMS is enough and when you need to produce training differently.
This table sums up the situations where Vidext fits. It doesn't replace a test with a real case, but it helps you decide quickly.
| If your situation is... | Why Vidext fits |
|---|---|
| You have procedures, manuals or internal policies not yet turned into training | The agents start from the document and propose the course structure |
| Your training team is small and has many courses pending | Your team reviews and approves instead of designing from scratch |
| Your content changes several times a year | You update the source, review the changes and publish the update |
| You need to know where each fact in the course comes from | Each part of the script names its source |
| You work with the Spanish public sector or need the ENS | ENS at medium level as well as ISO 27001 |
| You already have isEazy LMS and lack your own training | Vidext exports in SCORM or xAPI to isEazy's LMS |
If you want to see how isEazy compares with ten other platforms, our guide to the best AI corporate training platforms assesses it on the same five criteria as the rest.
For years, comparing an authoring tool with an AI video platform was simple: one didn't have avatars. Since September 2026 that no longer helps you decide. isEazy generates presenter video and so does Vidext.
The useful question is a different one: does your team need better tools to design courses, or does it need someone to produce them from what the company already knows? If your team is one to three people, with several sites, high turnover and changing procedures, what matters is how much work stays with your team for each new course and each change.
Our recommendation is to run a test before signing: pick a real procedure, ask each vendor to turn it into a course, and look at how many hours of your team's time it takes and where each fact comes from. If you want to run that test with Vidext, you can request a demo.
Yes. Since 1 September 2026, isEazy Author includes AI Video Studio, which generates AI presenters in realistic, 3D or comic style inside courses.² It is part of the AI add-on, paid separately from Author's plans. Custom avatars, for example of a company executive, are ordered as a bespoke production service.
isEazy Author has a free plan limited to three projects and paid plans from 72 euros a month per author billed annually, excluding taxes; the Business plan, with two authors, starts at 187 euros a month.³ AI features are quoted separately. The LMS and the Skills catalogue are sold in user tiers with no public pricing.⁶
Vidext works on a custom model with an annual contract and unlimited creators on every plan. To compare it with other options, we recommend calculating the total cost over two years, adding up the licence, your team's hours spent producing and updating content, and the outside services you no longer need.
Your team. The agents propose the course brief and structure, name the source behind each part of the script and never publish: a person reviews and publishes every course and every update.
Yes. Vidext exports in SCORM and xAPI, standards isEazy LMS supports. Courses are uploaded like any other and the LMS records each person's progress and completion.
isEazy holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 scoped to isEazy LMS.⁵ Vidext holds ISO 27001 and Spain's National Security Framework at medium level. For public-sector suppliers in Spain, the ENS is a legal requirement.⁷
