It's worth saying honestly: not everyone needs to change category. If your real need is documenting software processes for a help center, tools like Scribe or Supademo — or Guidde itself — do that job well. And if what you need is informal async communication between teams, Loom is still a great option. The mistake isn't using these tools: it's using them to train when training has legal, operational, or safety consequences.
Switching tools doesn't mean throwing away what you've already created. An orderly move rests on three steps.
