Trainings
Forum Sport is a well-known chain of stores specializing in sports equipment, with a presence in multiple Spanish autonomous communities. Their business combines customer service, technical product knowledge, and agile in-store operations, making ongoing training crucial—especially in a high-turnover sector—to ensure a good user experience and team alignment with brand values.
The Training team traditionally managed their trainings in person, accompanied by a lot of written documentation. This required a large investment of time and resources, making it very expensive to standardize messaging across different stores.
Additionally, as is common in the retail sector, employees needed a continuous training process that remained stuck in static documents delivered during their first days. Presentations that fell short of addressing day-to-day store challenges.
The model was not only costly but also ineffective in ensuring content retention and fostering dynamic internal communication.
With Vidext, Forum Sport transformed their training materials into dynamic and interactive videos—which employees could even watch on their smartphones—automatically generated from existing presentations or documents.
This allowed them to unify their trainings, tailor them to their teams’ profiles, and distribute them across all locations without in-person training or external tech support. In other words, they didn’t have to hire third parties, as they themselves—thanks to the tool—transformed all their trainings without needing prior knowledge of design or AI.
Now, employees can access training at any time from their mobile devices, and trainers can ensure they’re viewed and understood thanks to Vidext’s interactive features that allow adding quiz-style questions to each communication.
The result: a more modern, measurable, and efficient training strategy built on a tool that offered agility, autonomy, and personalization.
